Every third day a Finn gets killed by homicide. These actions take place in the most ordinary milieus you can imagine. After homicide these stages of horror act as a shrine for the victim and sorrow but as the time passes these places take back their habitual role. Some of these places include sorrow, stories and legends and some are forgotten. Every time life goes on even though one grievously ends.
This project addresses the problem of extraordinary high homicide rate in Finland by presenting canvas of Finnish homicide. It examines the relationship between the place, time and historic layers. Installation consist of seven looping videos, sound and graphic statistics.
